Lifesaving research, powered by personal stories
NOT-FOR-PROFIT
Through the power of empathy and human stories, we’re helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) raise critical funds for breast cancer research.
Since 1994, NBCF has funded over 600 breast cancer research projects, with money raised entirely by the Australian public. These projects have changed the game for breast cancer detection, treatment and prevention – and helped raise the five-year survival rate for breast cancer in Australia from 76% to 92%.
We help NBCF share the stories of people who have been touched by breast cancer and the power of new research through fundraising appeals.
We get to know people through in-depth interviews, so we can tell their stories – and allow supporters to connect to each appeal with empathy. We also showcase game-changing breakthroughs in NBCF-funded research – all powered through the support of NBCF donors. And by translating technical details into simple language, we make it easy for readers to understand the impact their donations make.
Working with Bug Communications, we create fundraising appeals that make a difference. NBCF’s 2022 Christmas Appeal raised $85.6K above its target for breast cancer research and saw an 8.6% response rate from its supporters – a fantastic result for the organisation.
We are proud to be able to support NBCF and play a small part in its vital work.

“We have been working with Sarah and Nik for all our appeals and retention pieces for a long time. They are so easy to work with and always go the extra mile to make the work happen. Writers are a huge part of NBCF’s successful fundraising programs and we look forward to continuing this relationship in the future.”
